Dear Willow,

You aren't having any alone time tonight. I've been in your room three times since I put you down and you are still fussing just a little. I don't want you to think I'm complaining though cause I'm happy to be needed.

You're such an independent baby that in moments when you just want me to hold you or sing to you, my heart soars. It's really easy being your momma but it's not really easy watching you grow up. I am so proud of you though. Every day you amaze me.

Your daddy and I went to the fair tonight and we had a great time. We ate way too much food and got way too hot, but it was nice to get to spend some time together.

I'm looking forward to taking you and Amber next week and watching your little eyes light up at all the new things to see!

Dear Willow,

I love being able to buy you new things and see you enjoying them. You put your new jammies on and while sitting with me, you wiggled your cute little chicky feet! It was adorable and of course your click happy momma snapped a couple photos! I keep thinking about the passage of time and how each day goes by and how important it is for me to never take a moment for granted!

We went for a walk today, we stopped at the coffee shop and on the way home, you fell asleep in your stroller. You are so good at falling asleep whenever you feel like it and I love to watch you sleep. You are so cute and I could just watch you for hours! You took a long nap and woke up happy, as you usually do.

Daddy and I went out tonight and I had a great time. I loved coming home and knowing that you would be here waiting for me. You were running around terrorizing the basement which you are always happy to do. Even now that is what you are doing while Amber and I have one eye on you and one eye on the Rise of the Guardians! I love this movie, by the way! Hopefully one day you will too!
