Checking In

It's been a while since I've posted anything here because I get so sucked up into life! I just sat here reading through the old posts and it makes me smile to read about those first days with Willow and watching her with her Daddy. I love her so much. Every day there is something new that she does or learns and I am so impressed with her.

I keep trying to imagine what kind of a person she is going to grow into.She impresses me every day and I am so proud of her. Right now we are watching Brave - she's never seen it before and I can tell that she is really "watching" it. She laughs and gasps and can't tear her eyes away from the screen.

Life is such a balancing act and any other mother knows that everything has to be balanced against time spent with our children. I love spending time with my daughter and everything else takes second string really. She brings such joy to my life and we are all blessed to have her in our lives. Darin is such a great dad, and Amber and Tyler are great with her too. I know that she was meant to be with us and that we are so lucky to have her as well.

I will be checking in more often. Life goes by too fast not to write some of it down!
